Q: How many homes will be built and what is the time frame for development?
A: There will be 25 homes that will be developed over a 2-3 year period in ten phases.
Q: How much are the Homeowner's Association (HOA) dues?
A: $195./mo. including lawn maintenance and snow removal, curbside trash and recyclable pickup, the master insurance policy and the reserve fund.
Q: I know what model and location is perfect for us. What is the next step?
A: If the purchase is dependent on selling your present house first, we recommend placing a $1,000 refundable deposit on the location you desire. We will hold the home until you have sold your present home. Should another buyer be prepared to sign a purchase & sale agreement immediately, we will notify you and give you Right of First Refusal.
Q: What kind of upgrades are available?
A: Each of our homes are fully customizable, allowing you to select personalized touches to make your brand new home "your very own".
Q: Are pets allowed?
A: Absolutely. We know that your pet is a member of your family. To review our pet policy, please ask for a copy of our by-laws.
Q: Is there any age restriction?
A: No, Jacob's Edge is not designated a 55+ community, although single floor living and a first floor master are a much sought after features, our homes are designed for many home buyers who enjoy maintenance-free living and who would like to remain independent for years to come.
Q: What is the Home To Home program?
A: We created the Home To Home program to help buyers locate area resources commonly desired when buying, selling or moving. A list of services, products and discounts including real estate specialists, lenders, appraisers, moving companies, storage, and more may be downloaded from this page.
